A trip to a spa should be a relaxing, rejuvenating experience, but if you're unsure of spa etiquette, it can be anything but. The information on this page will inform you how to make reservations, how to tip, what to wear, and much more.

RESERVATIONS

We recommend that reservations for spa treatments be made one to two weeks in advance. Your major credit card reserves your appointment. (435) 628-5419

CANCELLATION POLICY

We accept cancellations within 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If cancelled less than 24 hours, you will be charged 1/2 price of the treatment. "No-Shows" will be charged full amount.

ARRIVAL

Please check in 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. As a courtesy to the next scheduled guest, your treatment will end on time regardless of when your service begins.

ATTIRE

We want you to have a comfortable experience at About Face Salon & Day Spa and your modesty and privacy will always be respected. Please know that our team is well- trained in draping techniques to ensure your comfort and modesty during treatment.

SHOWERING

You are welcome to use our showers prior to or following your treatment. We recommend showering for any massage or body treatment as it allows our products to have maximum effect.

MEDICAL NOTICE

If you have any medical conditions, such as pregnancy, nursing, allergies, prescription medications, etc. Please notify our staff prior to appointment.

GROUPS

Group functions are welcome at About Face Salon & Day Spa. Please contact our spa director at About Face Salon & Day Spa.

VALUABLES

In order to avoid all worries and stress, don’t bring valuables with you to the spa. (Note: About Face is not responsible for lost or stolen items.)

GRATUITIES

The price of your treatment does not include gratuity. If your experience was a positive one (and please let us know if it wasn't), it is customary to tip your Service Provider.

helpful tips
and Requests

  1. 1.To preserve the Spa's tranquil environment, we respectfully request that you leave your cell phones turned off.

  2. 2.A spa is a great place to get a little alone time, so it’s best to not bring children under 16 unless they are receiving a service or treatment.

  3. 3.On the day of the treatment, try to stay out of the sun and avoid alcoholic beverages. Also, don’t schedule a physically demanding endeavor after a spa appointment. If in doubt, contact us to ask whether it is advisable to engage in a particular activity prior to your appointment.

  4. 4.If you must shave, do so at least two hours before your scheduled appointment, particularly if you are a man receiving a facial or a woman receiving any kind of scheduled body treatment.

  5. 5.Communicate your  preferences. Be sure to speak up. All aspects of treatment can be modified to your taste: amount of light, kind (or absence) of music, room temperature, and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence. If you want the therapist to give you a deep massage, or be gentler, let him or her know. Also, feel free to ask questions.
